Kia ora koutou,

The Prime Minister has just announced that Auckland will be moving to Alert Level 3 from 6am tomorrow morning, for an initial period of 7 days. Because of this, we are incredibly gutted to announce that AUSA’s Orientation Festival will have to be postponed until we can hold it safely.

The University has not made any announcements about teaching and learning that is set to begin on Monday, we will provide a further update as soon as there are any developments.

We have been in this position before and have persevered through it, we can certainly do it again. We understand how challenging this sudden change will be for our students, so we are urging you to reach out for support should you need it.

For now, please stay safe, stay vigilant, and kia kaha from the AUSA team x
